Geumdanggyegok is a fairly wide valley with a calm stream. The stream flows rapidly at points where large rocks protrude. Along the stream of clean water, rocks of various shapes and sizes and cliffs shade the sides like a folding screen. In the springtime, azalea and royal azalea blossoms paint the whole
valley a red that dazzles the eyes of visitors. Tourists can also enjoy rafting from May through October.
