The Buddhist temple is surrounded year-round by a green forest of narrow-leave trees. Near the temple, a stream of clean and cold water runs downward, adding to the beautiful scenery. Both sides of the road to Woljungsa are enveloped by an 800-meter stretch of fir trees that measure more than the span of one's arms. The more than 500-year-old fir trees welcome visitors to the temple with the comfort of Mother Nature.
